Become a Spartan for a Day
Prospective students in the eighth grade, as well as potential transfer students, are invited to participate in the Spartan for a Day (SFAD) program. Your student will be paired with a student host for nearly one full school day! Your student will receive a tour of the school, enjoy a complimentary lunch in our cafeteria, and attend classes with their host, all while experiencing the limitless opportunities that Saint Mark's High School has to offer.
Schedule
Each month's openings will be posted one month in advance. We host visitors most weeks from Tuesday - Friday. We ask that you arrange your student's visit at least one week in advance. We will send a reminder email with details to note for the day.
- Please arrive at 7:45 a.m. at the Main Office entrance (between the flag poles).
- Lunch will be provided for your student.
- Arrange to pick up your student at 2:15 p.m. at the Main Office entrance.
Choosing a Host
We will do our best to accommodate special requests to have a familiar face host your son or daughter for their visit. However, due to scheduling restrictions, please be aware that we may not be able to place your son or daughter with his/her first choice of host. We appreciate your understanding!
Dress Code
Visiting students are asked to dress in khaki or dress pants for boys and girls, or an appropriate dress or skirt for girls. Please wear a polo or dress shirt/blouse and shoes - no sandals or Crocs, please. If your student attends a school with a uniform, they are welcome to wear that uniform for their visit. If there is a school-wide 'Spartan Strong Dress-Down Day', guests are welcome to participate and we will provide dress code details in the reminder email.
