Approximately 3,000 people gathered at Delaware State College’s Memorial Hall to watch Saint Mark’s High School 1986 Wrestling Team as they faced competitors from around the state vying for the championship. The Spartans’ hard-work and dedication paid off by winning the school’s first team state championship nudging out Salesianum by 4.5 points. That season included first place finishes in the North East Tournament and Yellow Jacket Tournament as well as most place winners in the Top of the East and East Brunswick. Congratulations to the team on its induction into the Saint Mark’s Athletic Hall of Fame.
