Recognized as Delaware Player of the Year for two years in a row, forward Maureen Donovan led Saint Mark's to many basketball victories with her scoring, rebounding, and steals including the 1983 state championship. Maureen was a leader both on and off the court. Upon graduation, Maureen played basketball at Virginia Tech and later was an assistant basketball coach at Saint Joseph's University. In 2013, Maureen was inducted into the Delaware Basketball Hall of Fame. Now, we celebrate her upcoming induction into Saint Mark's Athletic Hall of Fame.
Saint Mark’s, a college-preparatory coeducational Catholic high school, inspires young men and women to create a better world, one more pleasing to God and more helpful to others, by modeling faith, excellence, humility and integrity.
