The Optimi Chapter of the National Honor Society at Saint Mark’s High School recently inducted 44 new members. To be selected for membership, students must hold a minimum GPA, have extensive involvement in co-curricular activities and demonstrate the four pillars of scholarship, character, service, and leadership. The induction ceremony included a candle lighting as well as the pinning on of the NHS membership pin by the student’s parents.
The Optimi Chapter requires community service during the school year from its members and annually supports the Blood Bank of Delmarva and the American Cancer Society in its group events.
Saint Mark’s, a college-preparatory coeducational Catholic high school, inspires young men and women to create a better world, one more pleasing to God and more helpful to others, by modeling faith, excellence, humility and integrity.
