  • Vice President for Advancement

    Vice President of Advancement
    The Vice President of Advancement is a senior leader who is responsible for designing and executing a comprehensive institutional advancement plan for the school. Advancement functions under the Vice President include annual giving, corporate and foundation relations, major gifts, planned giving, named and memorial scholarships, endowment, capital campaigns, alumni and constituent relations efforts, stewardship, and advancement services.
    Functions:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive advancement program on an annual basis
    • Keep the President and appropriate Board members regularly informed with current, accurate reports of the progress of all work
    • Sustain existing and forge new relationships with donors, prospects, alumni, current and past parents, faculty, and the community at large
    • Maintain a portfolio of major gift prospects for direct solicitation
    • Serve as the advancement liaison to the Advancement Committee of the Board
    • Work with communications team on the alumni component of publications, alumni email, alumni page of the website, social media, solicitation pieces, campaign materials and all other correspondence/materials
    • Manage advancement department staff
    • Carry out other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the President
     
    Qualifications:
    • Hold the minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in an area of study that supports the role/responsibilities of the position
    • Understand the mission and identity of a Catholic institution (practicing Catholic preferred)
    • A minimum of five years of experience in an appropriate field (Catholic school experience preferred)
    • Proven track record of increasing institutional support
     
    This is a full-time, 12-month, exempt position that requires evening and weekend work as well as travel (local and nationally). Saint Mark’s offers a competitive salary along with full benefits, vacation, and retirement plan.

  • Director of Campus Ministry

    Director of Campus Ministry

     
    The Director of Campus Ministry is a member of the administrative team responsible for all elements of liturgy, ministry and Catholic identity within the school. The Director of Campus Ministry directs retreat programs and works with other staff members to prepare all liturgies and prayer services, as well as providing pastoral care. The Director of Campus Ministry ensures that all operations of the school are in union with our Catholic teachings and faith.
     

    Responsibilities:

     
    • Develop and execute an annual plan for campus ministry;
    • Oversee the planning of school liturgies;
    • Oversee planning of prayer services, confessions and other spiritual life assemblies;
    • Communicate with local clergy regarding services to Saint Mark’s;
    • Coordinate all vocation awareness activities;
    • Develop and manage a core team of faculty and staff (on stipend) to carry out department programs;
    • Develop, administer, and direct all retreat programs;
    • Develop, administer, and direct auxiliary programs for the greater Catholic community in alignment with our school vision and mission;
    • Develop and manage a core team of student peer ministers;
    • Provide pastoral support as requested by students, faculty, and staff;
    • Collaborate with guidance and other departments regarding specific pastoral needs/concerns of students;
    • Collaborate with diocesan schools and the Office of Youth Ministry to provide faith formation activities on campus and in partner schools and parishes;
     

    Qualifications:

     
    • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in theology, ministry or related field; A degree in a different field may be considered with significance experience and/or alternative certifications or training in ministry
    • Five or more years of experience in a direct ministry setting – parish, school or university
    • Experience in retreat planning
    • Large event planning experience preferred
    • Must be an active member of a Catholic parish. A pastor’s letter is required
     
    The Director of Campus Ministry reports to the Principal.
     
    This is a full-time, 12-month, exempt position that will include evening, weekend and overnight work.
