Athletics

As an extension of the classroom, the Saint Mark’s athletic program strengthens the whole person.
Through Saint Mark’s comprehensive, competitive sports program, we teach student-athletes the value of teamwork and sportsmanship, advance their leadership potential, and develop their athletic abilities. By holding our student-athletes to high academic, moral, and ethical standards, we impart life lessons that extend far beyond their high school careers.

Our student-athletes can compete on the freshman, junior varsity, or varsity levels as part of the Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association, enjoying the benefits of our outstanding athletic facilities. Many of our student-athletes even pursue their sports in college and beyond.

Over the years, the Spartans have captured 100 state athletic championships. But our recent DIAA championships in sportsmanship remain our greatest point of pride. Coaching our student-athletes into young men and women who pursue excellence, demonstrate character, and maintain steadfast integrity is the ultimate win.
