Girls' Cross Country Goes Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness
Have you noticed the Saint Mark’s Girls’ Cross Country team’s new pink uniforms? The team is wearing pink in support of fellow teammate, Lauren Augustynowicz’s ‘18 mother Mary Ann (Seal) Augustynowicz. She is currently battling breast cancer and going through chemotherapy sessions.
The Cross Country team will wear the pink uniforms and pink ribbons again on Saturday, November 5 at the New Castle County Championship. The Saint Mark’s community continues to pray for the Augustynowicz family.
Saint Mark’s, a college preparatory Catholic high school, inspires young men and women to create a better world, one more pleasing to God and more helpful to others, by modeling faith, excellence, humility and integrity.
